Here are some images of pages of our guest book.....we've had lots of happy guests!

10/7/2008 – 10/18/2008 Darryl & Denise Griebe, Irvine, CA

Aloha Terrie & Dave, We have been coming to Maui for many years. It always feels like are coming home. Your unit was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We come to relax and that is just what we did. The staff are so friendly, we found a few new places to teat, and returned to some of our favorites but mostly we like cooking and staying in. We started off our trip this year by staying a few nights in Hana. It was a great way to start off the trip. Looking forward to next year. Mahalo, Darryle & Denise Griebe, Irvine, CA. P.s. We also tried battery in the clock, doesn’t work. At least we left it at 5:00pm! Cocktail time!

9/23/2008 – 10/7/2008 Dave & Anne Hauser, Palm Desert, CA Terrie & Dave, This is our 7th trip to Maui and third at The Ekahi Village, but it feels like we’ve finally found our Maui home. The location is perfect, The condo views unbeatable and the furnishings particularly comfortable. Other than the cock (we tried changing the battery), everything was perfect. Mahalo. One surprise this trip was a Thoroughley enjoyable evenings at Warren & Annabelle’s Magic Show in Lahaina. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, if you only go to one show, make it this one. Hilarious! Clean and mind bloggling close-up magic. Also enjoyed the new Matteo’s pizzeria. Nice to have a quality, affordable place in Wailea. Dave & Anne Hauser Palm Desert, CA
9/17/2008 – 9/23/2008 Terry and Emily, Morgantown, WV Emily and I had a really great visit on our first trip to Maui. We snorkeled daily and were told by a lady (Sue) at Snorkel Bob’s that one of the very best places on Maui was right down at your beach. We enjoyed eating out, and really liked 5 Palms for lunch. However, I can envision Fred eating every meal at “Cheeseburger’s”! Enjoyed your condo and all the extras you tow have so thoughtfully included. Make certain you look us up next time you are back in West Virginia. Thanks again for making our trip a very memorable experience. Sorry you guys could not have been here at the same time. Terry I agree with all of Terry’s comments. We loved the condo, the location, and all the beautiful trees & plants! We attended the “Old Lahaina Luau” and went on a snorkel cruise to Molokini with Agua Adventures. The side walk beach walk to various resorts was really lovely. What ocean vistas! Thanks for telling us about it and forall your great suggestions. Hope to see you all sometime soon. Emily
8/31/2008 – 9/7/2008 Kellmeyer Family, We appreciate the thoughtfulness of allowing us to stay at your condo. It truly became a home-away-from-home as we one day tripped to Oahu and Lanai – it was nice knowing we were returning here. By the way, if you every have the chance, head over to Sea Life Park on Oahu and do a swim with the dolphins – phenomenal! We utilized the beach chairs and cooler daily and enjoyed the short walk down thte greenway to the beach. We’ll miss the mornings on the lanai with the paper and a cup of coffee. For food lovers, specifically sushi, we found a place tucked away in Kihei called Koiso – which was (gasp!) better than Sorri Sansei. Nick’s in the Kea Lani is excellent as was Mamas Fishouse. Fred’s in Kihei had excellent Mahi Mahi tacos. Again Kellmeyers we thank you and look forward to staying here in the future. Thank You! Josh & Amy Sleeman Philomath, Oregon
8/30/2008 Aloha Terrie, Dave & Naish, Thanks so much for letting us experience your condo on our honeymoon. It is a beautiful place, the nicest we’ve ever stayed at! We made many memories; helicopter ride, ATV adventure, snorkel cruise & saw a whale shark! The Old Lahainia Luau & ate a great restaurant, Five Palms & watched the sunset, & of course layed on the beach. Our honeymoon to maui will always stick w/ us, & your veautiful place makes it even more memorable. Thanks for you hospitality & views! Aloha, Lauren & Reis Barton
Aloha Terrie, Dave & Naish We had an amazing time at your condo. This is a perfect place for young children. Our girls loved the beach and the pool (one of the best pools we have experienced in all of our travels) and we enjoyed the easy access to snorkeling (turtles, octopus and eels right off the beach!). Our six year old loved the kayak/snorkel trip with Eco Adventures. Thanks for the use of the play pen, Kids toys, etc. – this is the lightest we have travelled in 6 years ?. We will definitely recommend this condo to friends. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Kim, Dave, Paris & Siena
8/3/2008 – 8/13/2008 Mahalo Terri and Dave, For us the early mornings were exquisite. The distinctive calls of the Franklens and Doves as they awake to the gentale breezes flowing down from the Haleakala as the sun rising pushes the remnants of the night away. The light blinking on Molikini to guide sailors slowly disappearing as the dawn lightens the sky. All of this while enveloped in the warm humidity of Maui. Hard to leave the lanai and start the busy day full of activities. Well…maybe just one more cup of tea before we leave! Ann and Jack Lay
7/25/2008 Mahalo Nui Loa, We spent ten florious days here in your lovely condo, which felt like home – especially for an old kama aina like me. The days were filled with beach, sand and surf; the evenings with leisurely meals on the lanai. This is a beautiful spot and we look forward to returning here again. Aloaha, Sandra & Sam Macias
7/14/2008 It’s our last morning here and that’s a little sad but we’ve had such a special vacation I’ll try to not complain about it being “over”. Like the others before us – we’ve loved your condo!! Our son and his family are in building 11 (across the grass). It was fun waking up every morning and waving to the grandchildren…somedays they came here and ate breakfast with grandma & grandpa. Other than being here (at Ekahi)…our other favorite thing we did was the zip lining. That was quite a rush!! Thank you for all the little extra touches. We’ve enjoyed being here!! Candace & Paul Welch Foothill Ranch, CA
6/22/2008 – 6/25/2008 Aloha Terrie & Family, Our son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren enjoyed your condo from June 15-22 (see previous page). During this time we were in 32C with our other sone & daughter-in-law. We moved in to 32D the afternoon of June 22 and have LOVED being here. This is definitely the condo we plan to return to. ? You have so many extras and special touchers which we’ve enjoyed. Plus you and your mother have been a pleasure to work with. Enjoy that new baby. He will grow up all too fast. Marilyn & Howard Huelbact Dallas, TX
Mahalo, Your place is fabulous and all the extras made things extra special ?. Our family of four felt so at home! We truly enjoyed the island of Maui, and had a fabulous time snorkeling Molokini, hiking on Haleakala, building our annual sand sculpture (this year we chose a crab), swimming in the pool and of course the beautiful sunsets – our family rarely sees a sunrise ?. We hope to visit again someday. The Hurlbuts, Brenda, Anthony, Aitlin
June 11-16, 2008 Aloha Everyone! We just spent a great week here at our condo. It was a special trip for us because we brought our 8-week old new baby boy (Colt) here to Hawaii for the first time! We spent most of our days at the pool & beach. Naish is 3 ½ and is swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding and body surfing like a pro! We ate dinner on the Lanai each evening & loved walking down the beach for sunset. Thanks to everyone for taking such great care of our condo!! Terrie, Dave, Naish & Colt Kellmeyer
May 21-27, 2008 Aloha! We are celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary and your gorgeious, relaxing condo has helped makeour time here in Maui so perfect. Thank you for thinking of everthing we could possibley want or need. The 5 am bird songs, the rustling of palms, the roar of the majestic waves of the North shore, and the beautiful colors everywehere declare the creative, awesome hand of God! We did it all: Lahaina (Banyan Tree, Canoe Festival), Haleakala sunrise (I’m glad I brought my gloves and hand warmers), Kula Lodge for breakfast afterwards – excellent!, Road to Hana (the Nahku Road to the ocean was worth the drive – awesome!), snorkeling (left rim o f Molikini, saw 2 turtles at “Turtletown”), Luau at Mariott (the fire dancer was hot!) Mahalo! Bob & Patty LoCascio, Hoffman Est, IL (Chicago)
Aloha Kellmeyers – Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. This was about our 25th visit to the islands, our 5th to Maui; and our 2nd stay in condo 32D. It was everyting wehoped for: quiet relaxation. We took walks along the pathways by the beach, swam along the way, saw sea turtles, enjoyed afternoons at the quiet pool, loved having coffee in the ornings on the lanai – Thank You for the Maui News – Loved reading it every morning!, and we BBQ’d almost every night after a ritual walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. Our local favorites: Sansei – best sushi, original flavors, Da Kitchen – excellent plate lunch and saimin, Mama’s Fish House – a must, at least for drinks and pupus if not for dinner or lunch, Foodland –best sushi and poke for picnic lunches to go, Hula Grill, Kaanapali – fun for drinks, pupus, and local music. We hope to return again. Mahalo, Ray and Theresa Silva, San Meteo, California
April 29 – May 9, 2008 Dear Terrie and Dave, Thank you so very much for sharing your lovely Ekahi home with us. This was our 4th visit to Maui and the 2nd spent at Ekahi. We love the island and having the opportunity to spend 10 days in 32D has made this visit the most pleasurable experience of all! We drove to Paia one day and had lunch at Mama’s Fish House and on another day enjoyed lunch at Sea Watch on the Gold Golf Course right here in Wailea. Excellent meals and magnificent views from both restaurants. An all day trip to Hana in a 12 passernger van with Valley Isle Excursions, offered spectacular scenery around every turn. The day was appreciated all the more by leaving the driving to our experienced guide who was also well versed in Maui gacts and history. Sunday mornig we attendd a Church service at the Keawala’I Congregational Church in Makena. The church, founded in 1832, is located on the waters edge and we learned that Keawala’I means “Peaceful Bay”. Services are conducted in Hawaiian and English. For the most part, we have simply enjoyed the pleasure of waking up to the birds cirping at sunrise, walking on the beach, relaxing by one of the pools and taking in the breath taking views from each of the lanais. Sunsets have been spectacular and we have enjoyed dinner every eveningon the lanai overlooking the ocean. “Take-out” meals from Matteo’s (pizza) and “The Eskimo Candy” (various seafood entries, as well as Makawao Baby Back Ribs) have all been delicious! Thank you for including “Eskimo Candy” in your “welcome book” – we never would have come upon it otherwise! We have tomorrow with many happy memories and hope to return again very soon! Mahalo! *** and Marilyn Karesky, San Mateo, CA

March 2008 Aloha, Our deep thanks and appreciation for sharing your beautiful home with us. The amenities you provide make travel so much more enjoyable. The bach chairs, beach towels, washer/dryer, etc. After ten glorious days, even the closure of two major airlines and the domino effect of such, has not phased us a bit. We are returning to California in a complete and utter “Maui state of mind”, thank you for the treats, and the card!! Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo, The McChaughey Family
March 19-29, 2008 Terrie & Dave, This was our 3rd visit to Ekahi & Maui & it hasn’t lost any of its charm! Your condo was great & we really enjoyed the view. Our favorite activities this trip were the whale watching with the Whale Foundation, snorkeling at the Fishbowl wich had a tremendous variety of fish in clear water, and of course, seeing turtles! The best turtle watching (snorkeling) for us was at Changs Beach. My daughter saw 17 in one day! We had an under water case for our camera this year & got some great photos (we’ll email you one). Other activities for us includeded golf, shopping, lai needle & beach hopping. Great dinners @ Joe’s & Matteo’s and especially Fred’s Mexican. Thanks for making our stay easy & comfortable! Hope to come back some time. Back to the snow now – Andrea, Mike, Lindsay & Amanda Bell, Calgary
February 23 – March 1, 2008 To the Kellmeyers: We enjoyed the beauty, peace and quite of Ekahi spending a relaxting week here. November 8 – 16, 2007 Aloha! We enjoyed staying in your comfortable condo very much. We found it well supplied and the bed very comfortable. We have stayed in Ekahi many times and found your condo the best! We were here with our 3 children and their famlies (12 of us all, 8 adults and 4 children) and we had a ball. We had in total 4 condos in the ??? Village. We hope to be back and hope your place is still available. Mahalo, CA
